Margaret, The Fell Omen 🏳️‍🌈I'm so glad <a href="https://mastodon.au/tags/EldenRing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#EldenRing</a> won game of the year at the <a href="https://mastodon.au/tags/VGA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#VGA</a> awards, it's honestly the best game I've played in years, it hooked me in immediately and finally broke the barrier that's been keeping me from getting into <a href="https://mastodon.au/tags/FromSoft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#FromSoft</a> games. The way it lets you explore, and investigate and grow at your own pace gave me room to absorb the incredibly rich lore and ambiance, and motivated me to beat the bosses, which I now have done. First FromSoft game I've gotten into and I've gone and platinumed it 😅 Congrats to Hidetaka Miyazaki and team, you really earned it! 🎉
