As an #ActuallyAutistic person who has started enjoying the exploration of #leatherworking I found out that I wanted to make a pair of suspenders. I had to watch the video on YouTube from Weaver Leathercraft several times before I understood how to make this correctly and get assistance with another person for proper measurements. I also needed to take into account the length of clasps used.
The buckles and back piece sit more or less on my back and have been secured with both hand stitching and large nickel plated rapid rivets. Again I went with grommets just like my belt, but noted that I probably would have preferred smaller grommets.
It's kind of difficult to get a backside view with my phone or a more accurate view of the suspenders on me from the front.
I learned that I also need to use the flat surface for setting the rivets rather than the tool I was using as that only works correctly with setting snaps.
